01Dubai
Senior FinTech engineering for Dubai product teams.
Dubai is the Middle East's largest FinTech market and home to DIFC, the region's dominant financial centre. Most prospective Dubai work we have seen sits in payments, lending, and regulated wealth surfaces — areas where our audit-grade defaults and RBI-adjacent FinTech engineering experience translate naturally.
Hotreloads is headquartered in Bangalore. Dubai engagements run remotely with planned on-site visits for kickoff and key milestones.
02Local context
What Dubai is known for.
We are headquartered in Bangalore and engage with Dubai product teams remotely on a daily cadence, with on-site visits for kickoff, key milestones, and any incident that warrants in-person presence. Bangalore to Dubai is a four-hour flight; on-site weeks are scoped into the engagement timeline, not billed as extras.
The regulatory surface in the UAE is split across DIFC (regulated by the DFSA) and the rest of the country (regulated by CBUAE for banking and payments, and SCA for capital markets). Our FinTech focus translates: DFSA's record-keeping requirements, CBUAE's payment-system operator framework, and the cross-border data-flow obligations that come with serving regional clients from a UAE base.
Most buyers in Dubai are CTOs and heads of engineering at funded FinTechs, plus product leads inside regional banks and payments companies. The engagement model is the same as our India work: senior pod, fixed-scope, 60–120 days, tied to a measurable production milestone.
Local ecosystem signals
- DIFC and Dubai FinTech Hive — the region's dominant FinTech cluster
- DFSA, CBUAE, and SCA as the relevant regulatory surfaces
- Concentrated payments, lending, and wealth-management ecosystem
- Major regional events: Dubai FinTech Summit, GITEX, Future Blockchain Summit
FAQFrequently asked
Working with us in Dubai.
- Do you have an office in Dubai?
- Not yet. Hotreloads is registered and based in Bangalore. Dubai engagements run remotely with planned on-site visits for kickoff and milestone reviews. The async cadence (Slack, weekly demos, full commit visibility) is what most regional product teams are already using.
- Are you familiar with DFSA and CBUAE requirements?
- Yes. DFSA's record-keeping mandate for regulated activities in DIFC, CBUAE's payment-system operator and stored-value framework, the SCA's capital-markets surfaces, and the federal DPR (Data Protection Regulation) for personal data. We read the consultation papers as they are published and will tell you on the call when a circular changes our recommendation.
- What is the typical on-site cadence between Bangalore and Dubai?
- Kickoff is on-site if you want it (typically Day 1-3). Each major milestone gets an on-site review. Incidents that need in-person presence get one within 48 hours. The day-to-day work happens through your Slack and repo. The four-hour flight makes Dubai effectively a same-time-zone collaboration partner (IST + 1.5h).
